Whilst online purchases no longer require consumers to physically weigh, collect, or pick items themselves, these processes must now be carried out by internal team members in warehouses and factories, or on shop floors. Spryker Fulfillment App is suitable for a wide range of business models, enhancing B2B, B2C, Unified Commerce, and Marketplace platforms. The Fulfillment App can be utilized in a multitude of settings, fulfilling orders that span a vast range of items. The app enables your staff to prepare online orders in a timely and efficient manner, ready to be collected in-store, from a convenient location, or sent out for delivery. Whatever your business needs may be, the Fulfillment App ensures an efficient process for compiling orders, ready for their onward journey.

The Spryker Fulfillment App contains numerous features to ensure a set-up that works best for your specific processes.

  • Optimized for a variety of devices – As a Progressive Web App (PWA) Spryker’s Fulfillment App can be utilized through a number of devices – including tablets, mobiles, or custom devices – offering an efficient, standardized, and convenient way to fulfill customer orders.
  • Split orders as necessary for your fulfillment strategy – Fulfillment App supports picklists, where orders can be split into several separate lists for optimal fulfillment. For example, you may have several items in one order that are stored in separate warehouses. A picklist can be generated for each warehouse to optimize order fulfillment.
  • Offline capabilities – Staff can utilize the app without an internet connection. Orders can be downloaded to the device and updated in the device's internal storage. When reconnected to the internet, the application will update automatically.
  • Emails to customers – Emails can automatically be sent to customers to advise when the processing of their order begins and when it is finished. Which emails are sent can be modeled in the state machine based on your specific business needs.
  • Secure login – Picklists and customer data are protected by a login screen. Employees can only access information once they have successfully logged in and can only access the picklists for their assigned store branch or warehouse.

Once a picklist is ready for picking, it can be downloaded to the device and item collection can begin. Whilst using the app, staff can take advantage of the following features.

  • Number of items per picklist – The total number of items for each picklist is displayed on the screen, allowing staff to predict how large picklists may be and how long each picklist may take to complete.
  • Picklist breakdown – Staff can keep track of the picking progress by displaying a breakdown of items not yet picked, successfully picked items, and items not found.
  • Order search – Search picklists based on their order reference.
  • Customer notes – Staff have the ability to view additional notes supplied by customers, ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
  • Partial picking – If an order cannot be completely fulfilled, the staff member carrying out item collection can indicate on the app that not all items were found.
